An Important Day to Remember: January 6, 2021

As you all probably know, on Jan 6, 2021, the Capitol Hill of The United States of America got raided with unhappy citizens because of recent election results. This event happened during the official electoral vote counting. After the police and National Guard cleared the Capitol, 5 deaths were officially reported later that night. The House of Senate and Vice President Mike Pence continued their delayed count of Electoral Votes. At various times of the counting, many states objected to the counts. The Objection is when either party objects to the counting of that state’s electoral votes. The states that were objected were Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, though neither of them completed the objection trial because they all lacked either Senator or Rep signature, as well as lack of votes to it. The Senate worked hard and long, and at 4:00 A.M., the results were out. Joe Biden was elected President. All in all, Jan 6th was an extremely eventful day for the United States.
